Pears are having their day in our house! We’ve been enjoying pears on pizza, in sandwiches (adding a great crunch and sweetness), for dessert and now topped toast, or served with crackers. This versatile recipe for Pear Preserves is very quick and simple to make. Did we mention it contains Chia seeds? They pack one heck of a nutritional punch by containing Manganese (good for your bones and mineral absorption), protein and Omega 3’s. You can add them to pretty much anything, so we figured why not?
